The Petoskey Winter Sports Park

For nearly 120 years the Winter Sports Park has been a landmark community space for families to enjoy a northern Michigan winter.

30 years ago, a collaboration with the City of Petoskey and the Rotary Club of Petoskey raised the funds for building the lodge at the Winter Sports Park.

Even then, there was a vision for the next steps in creating an all-season space that could be a destination for generations to come.

PROJECT VISION

  • Covered Open-Air Space
  • Resurfacing the rink
  • Addition of new boards
  • Other Amenities: Basketball Hoops, Lacrosse/Soccer Goals, Mulit-use Courts, Community Events
  • Private Rentals
  • And More!

HELP US REACH THAT GOAL

Fundraising has already begun to bring this project into reality. We have a great start on reaching that goal of over $1,000,000 to fund the necessary improvements to create the All-Season Pavilion.

The Noon Rotary Club, for its 100th Anniversary project donated $277,000 and along with a private donor we have $302,000.

The City of Petoskey has been recommended for a Natural Resources Trust Fund State grant for $298,000.

We are over halfway there! We only need another $500,000. Learn how you can help.
